“Extremely Reprehensible”: Summons for Women’s Panel Helper of Arvind Kejriwal in the Swati Maliwal Assault Case, Bibhav

AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal is accused of being assaulted, and on Thursday, the NCW called Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s assistant.

The summons states that Bhibhav Kumar’s hearing is set for this Friday at 11 a.m.

The National Commission of Women (NCW) took suo moto notice of a media post titled “Ex-DCW chief Swati Maliwal accuses Arvind Kejriwal’s personal secretary of assaulting her,” in which Maliwal stated that Kejriwal’s private secretary, Shri Bhibhav Kumar, had viciously attacked her at the Chief Minister’s residence. The Commission issued a warning in response to these charges, stressing that noncompliance may lead to further measures that they judge appropriate.

Given that Kumar, a significant member of the Chief Minister’s office, is the target of grave accusations from a well-known public figure such as Maliwal, this episode has sparked debate and conjecture.

Maliwal went to the Civil Lines police station on Monday, claiming that she had been “assaulted” in the chief minister’s official house by a member of the chief minister’s personal staff, according to prior statements from police officials. She hasn’t yet made an official complaint about the situation.

Sanjay Singh called the event involving Maliwal “highly condemnable” at a news conference on Tuesday.
