Families at odds go on a meeting spree in Bathinda

Although the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Amrinder Singh Raja Warring’s family has begun campaigning by hosting public gatherings in the Bathinda Lok Sabha seat, the Congress has not yet announced its nominee.

Today, Warring met with panches and sarpanches in the Mansa district’s Bhikhi and Budhlada. Along with holding a few meetings with party workers in Mansa and Boha, he also conducted public meetings on Thursday in Bathinda city with his wife, Amrita Warring. A few days ago, Bathinda city had public meetings hosted by his brother-in-law, Dimpy Vinayak. Amrita convened meetings a few days ago in both the rural Bathinda and Mansa regions.

In response to a question from the media on his bid to run from Bathinda, Warring said that Fateh Badal, the son of Maheshinder Singh Badal, and Ajit Inder Singh Mofar from Sardulgarh had submitted applications, and the party needed to make a choice. About himself, he said that he had run for office four times and that he would now put up a strong battle to ensure that the candidates win each of Punjab’s thirteen seats.

Warring urged party members to vote in the Lok Sabha elections as a bloc. Speaking about the AAP administration in relation to the hooch disaster, he said that similar causes have also previously resulted in fatalities in Sangrur. He questioned, Why is this occurring exclusively in Sangrur? He claimed that after a few fatalities under the Congress administration, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal tweeted his regret and called for a CBI probe. This is a significant development, and the Minister of Excise need to respond.

Amrita Warring said that while the party had not yet revealed the ticket, she was prepared to take a seat wherever the party assigned her to be. She voiced worries about the state of the nation’s economy and said that the Congress has consistently set the nation on a course to improve welfare and the economy.
