Fast vaccination campaign in India, corona vaccine topped 10% in world with more than 10 crores dose so far
The second wave of corona is going on in India and cases of infection are making records everyday. Meanwhile, the immunization campaign (Corona Vaccination ) to combat the Corona epidemic is also continuing. Under the world's largest vaccination program started from January 16 in the country, more than 10 crore doses of Corona Vaccine have been given in India so far. On this, the Union Health Ministry said on Saturday that India has given 100 million doses of vaccine in 85 days and with this, India has become the fastest running country in the world.
The ministry said that it took 89 days for America to deliver 10 million doses of the vaccine in its country, while China took 102 days to do this. He said that India remains on top in terms of vaccine doses being given globally. On an average 38,93,288 doses of vaccines are being given daily in the country. The ministry said that the US has put more than 92 million vaccines in 85 days, while China and Britain have vaccinated more than 62 million and 20 million vaccines respectively during the same period.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman appealed to the people
The Prime Minister's Office also tweeted a chart showing the fastest vaccination in India and called it 'a strong effort for a healthy and covid-free India'. According to the ministry, 60.62 percent of the vaccinations done so far in the country have occurred in eight states, including Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Kerala. Finance ministers from the chart Nirmala Sitharaman ( Nirmala Sitharaman ) said also tweeted, "India gave 10 million doses of only 85 days Corona vaccine. All the people are requested to take advantage of the vaccination facility to protect themselves, their family and friends. ”

Vaccination campaign across the country so far
The nationwide vaccination campaign was started on 16 January. Health workers were first given, while on February 2, frontline employees were given doses of the Corona vaccine. After this, in the next phase, starting from March 1, people above 60 years of age and those aged 45 years and above were vaccinated who are already suffering from other diseases. Now from April 1, the corona vaccine is being given to all people above 45 years of age in the country.
