Fire breaks out at godown in Mumbai's Jogeshwari area, no casualties

A fire broke out at a godown in Mumbai's Jogeshwari area on Thursday morning. a minimum of seven fire tenders are at the spot to regulate things .

No casualties are reported thus far . The cooling operation is underway and further details are awaited.

The blaze erupted within the godown located within the industrial area near Ram Mandir road around 3.30 am, a politician was quoted as saying by press agency PTI.

"It was a level-2 fire. Eight fire engines were rushed to the spot and therefore the blaze was doused after about five hours," the official said.

The explanation for the hearth was yet to be ascertained.
