G20 Summit in Delhi: Office and educational institutions will be closed from September 8 to 10

On September 8 through 10, all public and private offices in Delhi will be closed, and the New Delhi district’s banks and businesses, including marketplaces, will also be closed. All schools and offices, including the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) office, would be closed on the days indicated, according to information provided by the Delhi government.

The national capital is getting ready to receive visitors from different nations for the G20 meeting, which is expected to take place on September 9 and 10. For the summit, these representatives will congregate at the Bharat Mandapam International Exhibition-Convention Centre in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Schools are required by the education department to observe September 8 as a holiday for both students and employees.

Beginning on September 8th, all banks, businesses, and marketplaces in the New Delhi neighborhood will be closed for these three days. Additionally, in honor of the G20 Summit, the Supreme Court declared September 8th a holiday.

During the G20 weekend, offices in nearby neighborhoods of Noida and Gurugram have made plans for their staff to work from home.

The G20 summit is expected to include 29 heads of state, 14 heads of international organizations, high-ranking representatives of the European Union, and visitors from invited countries.
