General Anil Chauhan, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), leaves on a visit of France

General Anil Chauhan, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), has completed his formal visit to France. The purpose of the visit is to deepen the defense cooperation between the two countries.

Senior members of the French military and civil leadership, including General Thierry Burkhard, Director of the National Institute for Higher Defence Studies, and Director General Armament, will meet with General Chauhan.

The CDS will speak to Army and Joint Staff Course student officers at Ecole Militaire while on a visit to the French Space Command and the Land Forces Command. Additionally, he will tour and engage with reputable French defense companies, such as Dassault Aviation, Safran Group, and Naval Group.

at addition, he is expected to visit the Indian Memorial at Villers-Guislain and the Neuve-Chapelle Memorial, where he will lay a wreath in honor of the Indian troops who gave their lives in World War I.
