Grandpa of the teen was quizzed in the Pune Porsche accident; license action is probably due

The grandpa of a 17-year-old kid who is accused of crashing his luxury automobile into a motorcycle earlier this week, killing two people, was questioned by the Pune Police on Thursday. The police also questioned the driver and buddy of the accused adolescent who were in the vehicle with him on Sunday when it crashed fatally in the Kalyani Nagar neighborhood of this city.

The Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) remanded the adolescent to the observation home on Wednesday. In yet another twist, the Porsche car’s interim registration has been canceled by the Regional Transport Office.

A Bengaluru-based dealer brought in the electric Porsche Taycan luxury sports vehicle in March, and it was subsequently temporarily registered and sent to Maharashtra.

One of the registration fees was still outstanding when the automobile was brought to the Pune RTO. To finish the papers, the owner was requested to pay the required sum.

Officials had originally said that the vehicle’s permanent registration was pending as the cost had not been paid.

Early on Sunday morning, two software engineers were killed when a high-end automobile in the city’s Kalyani Nagar neighborhood struck them. The driver of the car was apparently the adolescent son of real estate entrepreneur Vishal Agarwal, who the police believe was intoxicated at the time.

RTO procedure

The adolescent was placed under supervision at a home. The Porsche that ran the two young people over has had its interim registration revoked by the RTO.

Faced with the defendant

The grandpa of the adolescent was reportedly approached by his son, a real estate mogul who has already been detained, to confirm certain things.
