Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday held a high-level committee meeting in connection with the 400th 'Prakash Parv Samaroh' (Guru Tegh Bahadur 400th Birth Anniversary) of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru, through video conference. presided over. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, many Union ministers, Chief Ministers of many states and many dignitaries from across the country are members of this committee.
There are a total of 70 members in this committee. This committee will formulate a policy and plan for the promotion of Guru Tegh Bahadur's education and his ideas in the country and the world and will also approve programs for this. The central government formed this high-level committee on October 24 last year. This committee will monitor the events and approve the policies, plans and programs related to the commemoration of the 400th birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur.
