Gurugram: Man murders girlfriend over ‘blackmail’ and gives himself up to the authorities

Gurugram According to police on Sunday, a guy reportedly killed his girlfriend with a knife in Gurugram late on Saturday before turning himself in.

The dead and the accused were from the Akola district of Maharashtra.

The police said that on Saturday night, they got information about the murder of a 22-year-old woman at a PG in Tikri village, which is within the jurisdiction of the Sadar police station. A police squad, accompanied by forensic science and fingerprint teams, went to the scene.

“The woman’s corpse was discovered there, lying in a pool of blood. Her neck and head were covered with stabbing wounds. Additionally, a post-mortem examination was carried out, “a senior police official said.

The guy went to the Sadar police station and confessed to killing his girlfriend to the on-duty officers.

The police believe there may be a romantic connection to the situation.

It was alleged that the lady had traveled to the city two or three days before to see the guy.

The accused informed the police that she was blackmailing him and that she had filed a rape case in Maharashtra against him. In this connection, he said, she arrived in Gurugram, they got into an argument, and he murdered her out of fury.

“Every detail is being looked at. The guy was taken into custody after a murder complaint was filed against him, according to the SHO of the Sadar Police Station.
