Gurugram: Two are imprisoned and punished for the 2020 Lohri fire

In an Arms Act case, Additional District and Sessions Judge Tarun Singal’s court on Tuesday sentenced two individuals to two years in jail each. In 2020, the two opened fire on Lohri without warning, injuring two individuals.

Additionally, everyone has been fined Rs 10,000 by the court. They will be subject to further penalties if they fail to pay the fine.

Two young people were wounded and injured on January 13, 2020, when bullets were fired from a residence in the Sector 40 police station area, according to the police. In his complaint, Ajay Vats said that when he and his friends were enjoying Lohri, several young people who weren’t invited showed up. They started shooting randomly when they were questioned, wounding another young person and Ajay Vats’ brother, Vinay Vats.

Ajit, also known as Mota, Rahul, and Jai Narain, were taken into custody by the police. The four were taken into the custody of the court.
