Hyderabad: Fruit Seller in Bahadurpura Electrocuted to Death During Rains; See Video

In Hyderabad’s Bahadurpura neighborhood, a 40-year-old fruit seller was electrocuted to death on Tuesday, May 7, after a downpour that pounded portions of Telangana. Fakru leaned on an electric pole to cross a flooded road, and that’s when he came into contact with it.

People ignored him at first, thinking he was inebriated, but then they reported him to the Bahadurpura Police, who put him in an ambulance to get help. But when the physicians arrived, they pronounced him dead.

The CCTV camera that was placed on the walkway captured the event. At this point, the video has become quite popular on social media. In it, a guy is seen touching a pole while crossing a flooded road before collapsing to the ground.

Inspector R. Raghunath said, “The police recovered Fakru’s body after the power to the pole was cut off.” There is a recorded case.
