Shri Jain Shwetambar Terapanthi Sabha has started the COVID-19 Vaccination Drive for the Jain community in Hyderabad. In this vaccination drive, a discount of Rs 500 is being given on every dose in the fixed prices of the state government. This vaccination campaign, which will run till June 15, was inaugurated by Hyderabad City Commissioner Anjani Kumar on Thursday. The organizers who started the drive have sought help from Apollo Hospitals to procure the vaccine and provide the vaccine to the people.

According to Piyush Jain, coordinator of the vaccination drive, Rs 1000 for Kovishield in private hospitals, while Rs 1400 per dose for Covaxin has been fixed by the state government, but in this drive the vaccine is being installed at concessional rates. 500 rupees to Covishield, while a dose of Covaxin will be given here for 900 rupees. Under this vaccination drive, we are vaccinating the people of Jain community.

Registration of 200 people on the first day

He further said that about 200 people were registered on the first day, our target is more than this. We want that every day 4 thousand to 5 thousand people can be given the vaccine through this drive every day. Terapanthi Sabha is giving a subsidy of Rs 500 per dose. This campaign of ours will run till June 15. If there are registrations even beyond this, then we will take this drive forward. Anjani Kumar, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, said, "Organizing such a vaccination campaign will help in immunizing a large number of people." I request to provide similar facilities to help the poor and needy section of other society.

10 lakhs spent

Dilip Daga, vice president of Shwetambar Terapanthi Sabha, said, “We urge people from our community to come in large numbers and get immunized. We have spent about 10 lakh rupees for this vaccination drive, which will be borne by our organization. We have also received donations for this, which we will use to expand this campaign.

The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) on Sunday finalized the programs related to the yatra and festivities for the annual Rath Yatra to be held in Puri city of Odisha. The SJTA, in a meeting with the members of the Chhatisa Nijog (apex body of temple servants), has decided that all those, including the servants, who participate in the rituals related to the Rath Yatra will have to undergo an RT-PCR test. This can also include people who have taken both doses of the Kovid-19 vaccine.

All the programs related to Rath Yatra will be organized in the absence of devotees. Only servants and officials associated with the temple administration will participate in the Rath Yatra. Puri District Magistrate Samarth Verma said that prohibitory orders under section 144 of CrPC will be in force around the temple during the bathing procession. In the Snan Yatra, Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra are bathed. No one will be allowed to assemble on the Grand Road in front of the temple.

On June 24, the gods will be bathed

On June 24, on the day of Snan Purnima, the three deities will be bathed. Raja Dibyasingh Deb of Puri will clean the bathing place. After this the deities will be dressed in clothes and taken towards Anasara's house. It is believed that the deities become ill after bathing. After this religious rituals related to Anasara will be done, which will last for the next 15 days.

Rath Yatra will be held on July 12 without devotees

SJTA Chief Administrator Krishna Kumar said the world famous Rath Yatra will be held on July 12 without devotees. On the day of Rath Yatra, the chariots of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra will be pulled to the Gundicha temple, which is about three kilometers away from the main temple. The Rath Yatra will start on July 12 at 8.30 am and the process of pulling the chariots will start from 4 pm. After this, the three deities will be brought back to the main temple on 23 July.
