The decision was taken in a high-level meeting chaired by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' on Thursday. "A beneficial decision has been taken to impart technical education, especially engineering education in Matru and it will be available from the next academic session," said a senior ministry official. "The University Grants Commission has been instructed to ensure that all scholarships, fellowships etc. are given on time and to solve all the problems of the students immediately by starting a helpline in this regard," the official said.
