In Modi 3.0, V. Somanna and Shobha Karandlaje take over as ministers

On Tuesday, the respective ministers in New Delhi were taken over by the Union Minister of State (MoS) for Jal Shakti, the Ministry of Railways and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, as well as the Ministry of Labour and Employment, by the MoS for Shobha Karandlaje.

After taking on the responsibility, Somanna said, “I began my work with the blessings of the late Shivakumara Swamiji and the late Balagangadharanatha Swamiji.”

MP P.C. Gaddigoudar of Bagalkot, along with former MPs G.S. Basavaraju and Umesh Jadhav, were there as Somanna took on new duties at the ministry.

Following her appointment as ministry head, Shobha Karandlaje expressed her excitement about working with her new team to advance the nation.

H.D. Kumaraswamy, the Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel, said that Karnataka’s leadership has been entrusted with key ministries by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He said, “We will successfully and honestly strive to bring about changes at the national level in addition to bringing about revolutionary changes in Karnataka.”

Along with thanking Kumaraswamy for the well wishes, V. Somanna stated that he hoped to continue working with the JD-S Chief in the future.
