India's latest communication satellite GSAT-24 successfully launched, helps meet 'DTH' requirements

The GSAT-24 satellite built by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) was successfully launched by French company Arianespace on Thursday from Kourou in French Guiana (South America). GSAT-24 is a 24-Ku band communication satellite weighing 4180 kg with pan-India coverage to meet the needs of the DTH application.

This is the first demand-driven communication satellite mission launched by NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) after the space sector reforms. NSIL, a Government of India company under the Department of Space, has leased out the entire satellite capability to Tata Play.

'Rebels' kept their word from Guwahati, many tweets from Eknath Shinde's account, know what is happening there

The rebel group of Shiv Sena has camped in a hotel in Guwahati. On Sunday, Eknath Shinde shared a video on Twitter in which rebel MLAs are seen celebrating the birthday of an MLA from Bhandara, Narendra Bhondekar. Along with this, Shinde also shared videos of two more MLAs on Twitter.

Bharatshet Gogawale targeted Uddhav Thackeray
Shiv Sena's rebel faction leader Eknath Shinde shared a video of MLA Bharatshet Gogawale on Twitter, in which Gogawale has targeted Uddhav Thackeray and Ajit Pawar. In the video, Gogawale says, "CM Uddhav Thackeray hasn't held a meeting in 2.5 years with the Shiv Sena MLAs who lost the assembly elections in 2019. On the contrary, the deputy CM of the state gave money to the NCP candidates who lost the 2019 assembly elections."

Apart from this, Shinde also shared a video of MLA Prakash Abitkar on his Twitter handle. In the video, Abitkar refutes reports that he had a fight with some MLAs. He called the news of the quarrel completely false.

Aaditya Thackeray claims Shinde was offered CM post
Earlier, Aditya Thackeray claimed on Sunday that on May 20, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had offered to hand over the post of CM to Eknath Shinde, at that time Eknath Shinde had turned down the offer. But exactly a month later, on June 20, he reached Surat with many MLAs. Aditya Thackeray said that while addressing the Shiv Sainiks, he said that you can imagine how long this planning will be going on.
