It rains in seven Telangana districts

On election day, the sky were bright except for a few areas that saw some rain. According to the IMD, there were hailstorms in certain areas of the Medak district and heavy rainfall in the districts of Hanamkonda, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Jangaon, Mahabubabad, Mulugu, and Warangal. Per the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS), Mahabubabad had the most rainfall at 104.8 mm, followed by Warangal at 104 mm and Jayashankar Bhupalapally at 95.5 mm.

 

Hyderabad reported a maximum temperature of 39.3°C in Karwan, while Jagtial recorded the highest daily maximum temperature in the state at 41.1°C.

The withdrawal will affect rains in the state until May 17, according to the IMD, even though a weather system over Vidarbha, Marathwada, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu has become less noticeable. A yellow warning has been issued for lightning and thunderstorms with gusty winds of about 30 to 40 kmph in most districts.

For the next 48 hours, the city is expected to have light to moderate rain and thunderstorms with gusty winds of 30 to 40 kmph in the evening or night. The lowest and maximum temperatures are predicted to be about 24 and 36 degrees Celsius, respectively.
