Kangana Ranaut responds to trolls with “Proof” and defends her statement that she was the first PM of India

Kangana Ranaut, an actress who transitioned into politics, received backlash when she claimed that “Subhash Chandra Bose was the first Prime Minister of India” and is a BJP candidate from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. “When we gained independence, where did the first Prime Minister of India, Subhash Chandra Bose, go?” Kangana had said in an interview with Times Now. She brought up the widely held conspiracy theory about Netaji’s disappearance when it was pointed out that Bose was not India’s first prime minister.

“When we gained independence, where did the first Prime Minister of India, Subhash Chandra Bose, go?” Kangana said in an interview with Times Now. She made reference to the widely accepted conspiracy theory regarding Bose’s abduction when she was informed that he was not India’s first prime minister. “Why wasn’t he, though? How far away did he go? She asked, “How was he made to disappear?”

Working president of Bharat Rashtriya Samithi (BRS), KT Rama Rao, took notice of Kangana’s remark and poked fun at the BJP and her. KTR said on X, “A northern BJP candidate claims that Subhas Chandra Bose was our first prime minister! Mahatma Gandhi was our Prime Minister, according to a second South Indian BJP politician! Where were all these individuals graduates?”
As soon as Kangana’s remarks was captured on camera, it went viral on social media, drawing criticism from people for her “ill-informed remark.”

Kangana posted a clipping from a newspaper on her Instagram Stories that showed how Subhash Chandra Bose had proclaimed himself Prime Minister of Azad Hind in 1943 in reaction to the criticism. “Basic understanding for novices,” she wrote.

Kangana tweeted to defend her position: “All those who are giving me gyan on the first PM of Bharata do read this screen shot here’s some general knowledge for the beginners, all those geniuses who are asking me to get some education must know that I have written, acted, directed a film called Emergency which primarily revolves around Nehru family so no mansplaining please.”

She said, “If I speak way ahead of your IQ you assume I must be uninformed, well the joke is on you and it’s a lame one!!”
