Karnataka HM is making efforts to get Prajwal back

On Friday, Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara said that attempts are on to repatriate Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna, who is accused of abusing women sexually. Additionally, he said that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) looking into the matter was operating well.

33-year-old Prajwal is accused of repeatedly assaulting women sexually. He is the grandson of former PM H. D. Deve Gowda and patriarch of the JD(S). The affair has sparked a political firestorm between the BJP-JD(S) and the government Congress.

Prajwal is still at large after allegedly fleeing India on April 27. He was the candidate of the BJP-JD (S) combination for the Hassan Lok Sabha segment, which held its first round of elections on April 26.
