Karnataka Tape Case: Political conspiracy allegations of sexual exploitation on Ramesh Jarkiholi - BJP MLA

Ramesh Jarkiholi, who has been accused of sexual exploitation, has recently resigned from his post. Meanwhile, now BJP MLA Renukacharya has come out in his support. He says that this whole matter is blackmailing and political conspiracy.
Renukacharya said that there is no unknown woman victim in this case. This is a conspiracy. His statement came at a time when activist Dinesh Kallahalli, who demanded an investigation into the case, refused to appear before the police citing security reasons. The Quebec Park Police called Dinesh to inquire to find out more details about the case and the woman who was allegedly cheated.
Kaneshpura resident Dinesh said that he started receiving threats on the phone soon after registering the complaint. He saw unknown people walking around his house and approached the Ramanagaram police, seeking security. After this, the police have been deployed to keep an eye on his house.
Ramesh Jarkiholi is accused of sexually harassing the woman on the pretext of getting a job and then turned away from his promise. A complaint has also been lodged against him in this matter. Dinesh Kallahalli, a social worker and chairman of the Citizen Hakku Horata Committee, had released a tape related to this matter in the media.
Karnataka Water Resources Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi on Wednesday sent his resignation to Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa after allegations of sexual harassment were leveled against him. Jarkiholi has resigned a day after an alleged sex tape of a woman being intimate with him. The clip was broadcast by Kannada news channels.
In the resignation letter sent to the Chief Minister, Zarakiholi has said, "There is no truth in the allegations against me. It should be investigated as soon as possible. I trust my innocence but taking moral responsibility, I am resigning from the post of Cabinet Minister. You are requested to accept this. According to sources, Jarkiholi has sent his resignation following the instructions of the party high command.
