Kishan informs Nadda that several notable figures in Telangana are eager to join the BJP

To assess the plans for the approaching Lok Sabha elections, BJP national president JP Nadda called state president G Kishan Reddy to Delhi on Saturday.

Some politicians in Telangana are reportedly waiting for approval from the BJP high command before joining the saffron party, which is what Kishan told Nadda.

He informed Nadda that, subject to sanction from the national leadership, former MP Godem Nagesh, former Kothagudem MLA Jalagam Venkat Rao, and former Mahabubabad MP Prof Seetaram Naik will all join the party.

According to reports, Kishan informed Nadda that two former BRS MLAs from Nalgonda and Warnagal had indicated a desire to join the BJP, provided they were granted tickets to run for Lok Sabha seats.

Nadda informed Kishan that the party has made the decision to run its own independent campaign in Telangana and avoid forming any alliances in the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections.

According to reliable sources, the BJP Central Election Committee will convene on Sunday or Monday to choose the final candidates for the eight Lok Sabha seats in Telangana and the other seats throughout the nation.

The BJP’s second list of candidates is expected to include the newcomers, who might run from the Lok Sabha seats of Mahbubnagar, Peddapalli, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Adilabad, Warangal, Nalgonda, and Medak.
