Kurukshetra, Ambala celebrates Saini’s ascendancy

On Tuesday, jubilation broke out in the districts of Kurukshetra and Ambala as word circulated that Kurukshetra MP Nayab Singh Saini had been named the next Haryana Chief Minister.

Sweets were handed by BJP volunteers and Nayab Saini’s supporters outside of camp and party headquarters in the districts as well as Saini’s home.

The party members congregated in front of Nayab Saini’s house in Naraingarh and the camp office in Sector 3, Kurukshetra. They waved placards endorsing former chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Nayab Saini. The OBC community was ecstatic to welcome Nayab Saini since he is one of its members.

Community leader Gurnam Saini said, “The BJP has once again demonstrated that an individual can become the state’s chief minister by working diligently within the party.” The party has sent a strong message to the OBC minority in Haryana by appointing Nayab Saini as chief minister.”

In his maiden Lok Sabha battle from Kurukshetra, Nayab Saini easily beat Nirmal Singh, the closest Congress opponent, with a margin of more than 3.84 lakh votes. Former Ambala MLA Nayab Saini was announced as the BJP candidate from Kurukshetra after Raj Kumar Saini, who had been elected as the MP in 2014 on a saffron party ticket, turned dissident and founded his own party.

Following his election victory, Nayab Saini had declared his intention to turn Kurukshetra into a major tourist destination. Saini now has the duty to win the other nine seats in the state in addition to keeping his position in the Kurukshetra Lok Sabha.

The constituency benefited from a number of significant projects under his administration, including the elevated track now under construction, the renovation of LNJP Hospital, the building of flyovers, and railway initiatives. The district’s ongoing and unfinished initiatives should benefit now that the MP is the Chief Minister.

Nevertheless, Nayab Saini had encountered harsh circumstances during the first farmer’s movement as well. He had often suffered the wrath of the famers.

In the meanwhile, more security was added close to the new CM’s camp office. “It is a historic day for Kurukshetra as the district has got its first Chief Minister,” said Kailash Saini, the person in charge of Nayab Saini’s office in Kurukshetra. He stayed till eleven p.m. We were unaware that he would become the next Chief Minister. He went after receiving a call from Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar at around 11 p.m.

Dhuman Singh Kirmach, a BJP politician from Kurukshetra, said, “The government is committed to promoting Kurukshetra as a tourism destination.” We anticipate that CM Nayab Saini’s status as a Kurukshetra MP would strengthen the current development initiatives.
