Launch of the 26th Inter Polytechnic Sports Meet

At Vijayawada Government Polytechnic College on Monday, the 26th Inter Polytechnic Sports and Games Meet was officially opened by Technical Education Department commissioner Chadalawada Nagarani. She said that up to 508 athletes from 19 polytechnic institutes in the Krishna area are participating in 18 different sports.

She emphasized the need to have the same versatility in both academics and athletics, stating that efforts are being made to offer additional sports facilities at all government polytechnics. There were many people in attendance, including Dr. M Vijayasaradhi, the principal of the college, KV Ramana Babu, Principal Secretary Janaki Ramaiah, Regional Joint Director JSN Murthy, Deputy Directors K Vijayabhaskar, and MAV Ramakrishna.
