Laxmi Hebbalkar, the minister for Karnataka, says we need MPs who would work for people

Laxmi Hebbalkar, the minister for women and child development, questioned the BJP on Saturday, stating that voters have been seeing Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Belagavi district for ten years. She also questioned the party’s practice of asking voters to support the party based solely on appearances in Lok Sabha elections. The member of parliament representing the people should act on behalf of his constituency, right? In the name of the head of the party, how is it possible for individuals to vote for the same candidates?

Hebbalkar promised to provide justice for the people who supported her son Mrinal, a Congress candidate from the Belagavi seat, in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. She made this statement during an electoral rally in Saudatti taluk.

She claimed that in her capacity as Minister for Women and Child Development, she could provide financial support to over 1.20 crore women in the state. She said that every household in the state benefited from one of the government’s guarantee programs.

The people were promised ten kilograms of food for every household by the Siddaramaiah-led state administration, but the Center refused to provide the state with grains. She said that rather than providing the recipients with rice, the government ought to immediately transfer the funds into their bank accounts. She said that the state administration was having difficulty protecting the populace from the heat of inflation. Hebbalkar requested the people to elect her son as the MP, who would work hard for the development of the Belagavi LS constituency, while also noting that Belagavi required an MP who would serve the constituency by having works executed.
