Locket Chatterjee, who is certain of winning, would run for the Hooghly Lok Sabha constituency

The declaration of Locket Chatterjee as the BJP nominee for the Hooghly Lok Sabha constituency has put a stop to all the rumors about the candidate. Locket Chatterjee met with the media late on Saturday night, just after her name was announced as the BJP candidate. Ms. Chatterjee expressed her confidence in winning the election by a wide majority.

However, Mr. Ashit Mazumdar, the MLA for Chinsurah in the Trinamul Congress, said that Locket Chatterjee has not done anything for the people in her area in five years and has not been seen there. “This time, she is going to lose badly; the BJP is going to lose every single seat in the Hooghly district. The general public has not benefited from the actions of the BJP MP or MLAs. They have consistently attempted to sow discord along communal lines to divide the populace and prevent the TMC from moving on with its development and advancement projects. He said, “The Bengali people will not support the power-hungry BJP.” Speaking to the media, Ms. Chatterjee stated: “I brought the 18 lakh voters of the Hooghly constituency’s voice to Parliament.

Both now and in the coming days, I will be with them. Despite the fact that the BJP performed poorly in the most recent Assembly, municipal, and panchayat elections, a thorough reflection was conducted to address our shortcomings. We now have the strength to run in and win the Lok Sabha election. “The TMC is currently going through a phase of great turmoil within the party fold,” said Locket. The party is split up among many groups. There is a great deal of dissatisfaction among TMC party employees.

There are problems with corruption in almost every industry. Voters are very resentful of the TMC due to the breakdown of law and order, mafia raj, atrocities against women, and the Sandeshkhali event. Voters are steadfast in their resolve to prevent the TMC from regaining power. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has guided the country to unprecedented heights.

According to Ms. Chatterjee, “the state government has deprived the people of all the central government beneficiary schemes and projects, while massive progress and development work is ongoing throughout the entire nation.” According to the Hooghly MP, the BJP wants to bring about an industrial revolution in Bengal that would provide lakhs of young, educated people without jobs.

The TMC accelerated its own demise and cleared the way for the BJP to win by overwhelming margins. According to Ms. Chatterjee, the electorate is ready to give the BJP a chance since they are fed up with the TMC government’s mismanagement and are unhappy with them.
