LS polls: PM Modi will campaign in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh today

New Delhi Tuesday is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public addresses for the ongoing Lok Sabha election in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Prime Minister Modi is expected to speak at two public gatherings in Bihar: one in Maharajganj at 12:30 p.m. and the other in East Champaran at 11 a.m.

The Prime Minister will travel to Uttar Pradesh after Bihar and speak at a public gathering in Prayagraj at 3:45 p.m. Later, at 5:30 p.m., he will take part in a discussion event in Varanasi about women’s empowerment.

Significant political events that will transpire nationwide on Tuesday include:

On Tuesday, public gatherings in Odisha will hear remarks from Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

*Amit Shah is expected to speak at four public gatherings from Odisha: a public rally in Nayagarh at 4 p.m., a public meeting in Dhenkanal at 2:15 p.m., a public meeting in Sambalpur at 10:30 a.m., and a public meeting in Kendujhar at 12:30 p.m.

* J.P. Nadda, the president of the BJP, will conduct road shows and open forums across Delhi and Haryana.

* J.P. Nadda is organizing a roadshow from Haryana in Rohtak. It will commence at 10 a.m. from the power house near Swami Vivekanand Complex to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Chowk. It will conclude at 12:25 p.m. at Sonipat (Jind) at Punjabi Dharmshala to Town Hall. He would travel to Delhi later and do a roadshow in Palam, South Delhi, starting at 6 p.m. near Jat Chaupal Chowk and ending at Palam Railway Station. Additionally, he will speak at a public gathering at Pitampura’s Mahendra Park Chowk, Chandni Chowk, at 8:00 p.m.

*A news conference in Chandigarh at 3 p.m. will be held after Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge’s speech at a public meeting in Yamunanagar, Haryana, at 12 p.m.

Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will speak at a public gathering in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Attendees will also include the chief ministers of Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh, Bhupesh Baghel and Kalpana Soren, respectively. CM Kejriwal will conduct a roadshow in Delhi later on Tuesday night to endorse Kanhaiya Kumar, the candidate for the Lok Sabha seat representing North East Delhi for the Congress and INDIA alliance.

Rajnath Singh, the Defense Minister and BJP leader, will speak at a public gathering in Bokaro, Jharkhand, at 12:45 p.m.

*On his visit to Delhi, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will speak at three public gatherings: one in the North West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency at 7:00 p.m. and one in the North East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency at 9:00 p.m.

Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and a prominent member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, is scheduled to speak at several public gatherings in support of the Shravasti Lok Sabha constituency. These gatherings will take place at 10:30 a.m. in Gasadi, Balrampur; at 11:50 a.m. in Dumariyaganj, Siddharthnagar; at 1 p.m. in Mehdawal, Sant Kabir Nagar; at 2 p.m. in Mahadeva, Basti; and at 3:25 p.m. in Sagdi, Azamgarh. He and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be attending a Women’s Convention in Varanasi at 5:30 p.m.

*Akhilesh Yadav, the chief of the Samajwadi Party (SP) and a former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, would speak at public gatherings in favor of the candidates from the INDIA bloc and the Lalgunj (SC) Lok Sabha seat of Azamgarh and Bhadohi Lok Sabha constituency of Bhadohi.

*Akhilesh Yadav will make a plea for the Lalgunj (SC) Lok Sabha constituency’s support of SP candidate Daroga Prasad Saroj at 12:25 p.m. Akhilesh Yadav will endorse TMC-SP alliance candidate Laliteshpati Tripathi from the Bhadohi Lok Sabha constituency by hosting a public meeting at 2:00 p.m.

Mayawati, national president of the Bahujan Samaj Party, will speak at a public gathering in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, at 11 a.m.

Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav, who is running for Lok Sabha from the Azamgarh constituency, will speak at public gatherings to promote her party’s and the INDIA bloc’s candidate, Dharmendra Yadav. She will speak at a public meeting in the Azamgarh district at 1:45 p.m.

Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of the opposition and former deputy chief minister of Bihar, and Mukesh Sahani, the national president of the Vikasheel Insan Party, will speak at a public assembly in Madhubani at 1:00 p.m. For the Shivhar Lok Sabha seat, they will both run campaigns in favor of Mahagathbandhan candidate Ritu Jaiswal. They are organizing two combined rallies later today, at 2 p.m. in Meenapur, Muzaffarpur, and 3 p.m. in Saraiya, Muzaffarpur, to back Mahagathbandhan candidate Vijay Kumar Shukla, who is running for Varna Lok Sabha seat.
