Maharashtra: A 19-year-old woman dies after falling from an abandoned building while having a drink with friends; 2 others are detained
During a drinking party with friends in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, a 19-year-old lady died after falling from the seventh storey of an incomplete and abandoned structure, according to authorities.
According to a representative of the NRI police station in Belapur, the event happened on Thursday about 5 o’clock, and the police apprehended two of her male companions.
On the seventh story of an incomplete and abandoned building, the lady was a member of a group of pals who were having a drink party. The victim accidently fell off and died there, according to the police’s first investigation. Police are confirming this version, however,” he said.
According to the official, a police squad responded quickly to the call about the event and sent the woman’s corpse to a government hospital for a post-mortem.
The two people in custody are being questioned by the police, who have opened an investigation into an unintentional fatality, he said.
