Maharashtra Has 450 New Covid-19 Cases, Three Deaths, and a 2,343 Active Tally

Tuesday saw 450 new coronavirus cases reported in Maharashtra, bringing the total number of infections to 81,42,509, with three fatalities, according to a state health department official.
Since Monday, when the state recorded 205 cases, the daily number of illnesses has doubled.
The official reported that the latest casualties brought the total to 1,48,438 while the number of recoveries increased to 79,91,728 after 316 patients made full recoveries in the previous day.
In the previous 24 hours, 10,787 swab samples were analysed, bringing the total number of tests carried out across the state to 8,65,96,047, according to the health department's report.
Mumbai circle reported the most recent infections (227), followed by Pune (138), Kolhapur (25), Nashik (22), Nagpur and Akola (17 each), and four from Latur.
According to the report, the Kolhapur and Latur circles each reported two and one casualties, respectively.
135 additional cases were reported in Mumbai, bringing the total to 11,55,662, which includes 19,747 fatalities.
This brings the total number of active cases in Maharashtra to 2,343, of which 663 were from the Mumbai district, followed by 605 instances from Pune, and 429 from Thane district.
According to the research, the recovery rate is 98.15 percent and case fatality rate is 1.82 percent.
