Man Fatally Beaten While Tied To A Pole In Delhi Amid Suspected Theft Caught On Camera

Following a horrific attack by unidentified men yesterday in Northeast Delhi on the basis of theft accusations, a Muslim guy lost his life. Police said that yesterday morning in the Nand Nagri region, 26-year-old Israr Ahmed was beaten severely with sticks while tied to a pole and suspected of stealing.

Israr is bound to the pole in the widely shared footage of the event while the guys around alternately beat him with sticks. In the video, Israr can be seen wailing in agony and begging with the assailants to stop beating him, but they persisted.

The father of Israr, Abdul Wajid, reported to the police that his wounded kid was later taken home by a neighbor who also described the occurrence. Mr. Wajid found Israr’s corpse covered in various wounds when he got home.

Unfortunately, they were unable to take his kid to the hospital before he died unexpectedly at home. Police have dismissed any communal overtones and said that preliminary findings show the attackers belonged to several groups.

According to authorities, who were quoted by NDTV as saying “We will arrest them soon,”
