Meghalaya government extended night curfew in the state till July 6, border areas will remain in full lockdown
Shillong The Meghalaya government announced on Monday to increase the night curfew in the state to 6 July and complete lockdown in the border areas adjoining Guwahati in Assam to prevent corona virus infection. Officials gave this information.
Chief Minister Konrad K Sangma announced a complete lockdown in the border area adjoining Guwahati in Assam. The Chief Minister tweeted, "In view of the increasing cases of Kovid-19 in Assam, the government has decided to complete a complete lockdown in Zorabat upto Khanpara, Burnihat in Meghalaya, bordering Guwahati.
