Mentally handicapped minor took the life of a woman, threw her down from the building, caught in CCTV incident
A shocking incident has come to light with the help of CCTV camera in Kothurud area of Pune. In this, a minor mentally ill girl, another woman who is mentally ill, is imprisoned while pushing her from the second floor of the building. The 13-year-old minor pushed the 33-year-old woman and killed her.
He died on the spot due to falling from a height. The incident took place at 5 pm on February 26 in the building of Bahuwiklang Foundation located in Bhusari Colony, Kothrud in Pune city. Its CCTV video has now surfaced, in which the woman can be seen clearly throwing away.
Case filed for murder against a minor
In this case, a woman named Anita Tapre has filed a complaint with the local police. A case of murder has been registered in this case, due to which the minor has been taken into custody. According to the Kothrud police station, the name of the deceased woman is Mamta Mohan Dongre. Police has registered a case of murder against a mentally ill minor and has been taken into custody. The accused is from Mumbai and has been living in a disabled center of the NGO for the last one month.
Kothrud police sub-inspector Amol Ghodke said that it can be seen in the video that the minor girl pushed the woman to the ramp and then pushed her down. After which the people of the institute reached the spot after hearing the sound of falling down. At the same time, the doctor declared Mamta dead. The information of this matter has been given to the police from the hospital itself. Earlier, the police had registered the case as Accidental Death, but later changes were made to the case based on CCTV footage.
The deceased woman had been living in the NGO for the last 20 years
Sub-Inspector of Police Amol Ghodke said that a case has been registered under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The deceased woman had been living in the NGO for the last 20 years. His family lives in Baramati. He has not filed any complaint against the NGO. It has been said on their behalf that the NGO was taking care of the deceased for the last several years.
Ghodke further said, 'More than 90 percent of the deceased were mentally ill. The parents of the accused minor live in Mumbai. He used to come to Pune every week to meet his daughter. This NGO is taking care of children with disabilities without any donation. This is a very unfortunate incident. We have registered a case and started investigation. In this case, Pune Police is taking all necessary information steps on its behalf, but as the accused is a minor, he is also mentally ill, so further action is being taken on the basis of the same.
