Modi government bans 59 Chinese apps, Congress welcomes decision

New Delhi. Congress on Monday welcomed the decision to ban 59 Chinese apps, saying the Center should take more effective steps. Earlier, India banned 59 Chinese apps , including the popular TicketLock , saying that they were a precursor to the sovereignty, integrity and security of the country. Senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel said that this was a welcome decision in the backdrop of the attack on the Indian Army by the Chinese Army. 

"We welcome the decision to ban the Chinese app," Patel said on Twitter. In view of the infiltration in our region and the unprovoked attack on our armed forces by the Chinese Army, we expect the government to take more effective steps. "Congress spokesperson Manish Tiwari said," It is a good idea to stop the Chinese app, but What about the money received from Chinese telecom and other companies in PM Cares fund? Good idea or bad.
