Mumbai: Two Russian nationals had to perform stunts on Bandra-Worli sea link expensive, police arrested
Two Russian nationals have been arrested for allegedly stunting the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in Mumbai. A police officer said on Saturday that the incident took place on Wednesday evening and that Russian citizens have been identified as Maksim Sherbakov (24) and Vasily Kolesnikov (30). They told that both the people reached the sea link via taxi from Bandra. After running for a while, Maksim started climbing on the pillar of the bridge and Vasily stood down to take a photo and video of Maksim.
The officer said, "Some passers-by informed the Sealink Management personnel, after which the police were alerted." Senior Inspector Anil Koli of Worli Police Station said that the police reached the spot and arrested the two. He said that both have been arrested under sections 336 (acting rashly or negligently) and 188 (disobeying public servant's order) of the Indian Penal Code. Koli told that both were produced in the court, from where they were released on bail of Rs 7,500.
Both work in circus
He said, "Investigation revealed that these two people work in a circus and often climb high structures to do tricks and share their photos and videos on social media." Mumbai Police's Anti-Terrorist Cell (Anti Terrorism Cell) also questioned both of them, but no suspicious thing was revealed against them. They said that the police will possibly file a charge sheet against both of them on Monday.
