New Delhi. Newly appointed executive president of Congress 's Gujarat unit Hardik Patel said on Monday that his goal is to produce at least 50 party workers in every village of the state. He also said that he will work with other leaders of Gujarat Congress to win the Congress in the 2022 assembly elections. The 26-year-old Patel, popularly known as the Patidar Reservation Movement, was recently appointed as the Executive Chairman of the Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee.
He said in the conversation, "Gujarat has a BJP government for the last nearly three decades. In such a situation, connecting the people of the state with the Congress is a difficult task, but not impossible. The first thing will be that we have to reach every village. We will create at least 50 activists in every village who can raise the Congress flag. "Patel said," Just like I went to 6000 villages in the social movement, similarly I will go back to the villages and add people. " We will not only do politics of protest, we will also do politics to solve the problem.
When asked about the cases going against him, Patel claimed that the BJP implicated him by falsely prosecuting him. He said, "I will go to the High Court and also to the Supreme Court. Will work in electoral politics along with organization politics.
