“Narendra Modi function”: Rahul Gandhi mocks the Prime Minister over the opening of the Ram Temple
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi pokes fun at Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday by claiming that the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony in Ayodhya is a ‘Narendra Modi event,’ ahead of the much awaited dedication of Ram Temple on January 22, 2024.
Speaking at a gathering for the “Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra” in Kohima, the capital of Nagaland, he said, “The RSS and the BJP have turned the 22nd January ceremony into a purely political Narendra Modi occasion. Gandhi said, “I believe the Congress President stated he would not attend the celebration since it is an RSS BJP function.
“We welcome all practices and faiths. Even the greatest and most powerful Hindu authorities have publicly expressed their opinions regarding the 22nd January event, believing it to be a political one. Thus, he said, “it is challenging for us to attend a political event that is centered on the Indian Prime Minister and the RSS.
