Nation seeing a wave of transformation: Rahul Gandhi

As voting for the fifth round of the Lok Sabha elections got off in 49 seats on Monday, Congressman Rahul Gandhi said that it is evident that people are standing up to defend democracy and the Constitution and that the nation is going through a period of rapid change.

The fifth round of voting will determine the electoral destiny of numerous well-known figures, including Gandhi, former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah, and Union ministers Rajnath Singh and Smriti Irani. Voting is taking place in 49 seats across six states and two union territories.

Gandhi said, “Today is the fifth phase of voting!” in a Hindi post on X. It is evident from the first four phases alone that people are resisting the BJP and standing up to defend democracy and the Constitution.”

“This nation is voting on its own concerns because it is tired of the politics of hate. Young people for employment; farmers for MSP and debt relief; women for financial stability and independence; and laborers for fair compensation.

The former president of Congress said, “There is a storm of change in the country and the people are fighting this election along with INDIA (bloc).”

“I am appealing to the entire country, including Amethi and Rae Bareli, come out and vote in large numbers for the prosperity of your families, for your own rights and for the progress of India,” Gandhi said.
