One child among two arrested for heroin and pills

The Sultanwind police detained a 17-year-old teenager on suspicion of having 255 grams of heroin. In addition, the police said that they had found Rs 300 in narcotics money from him. A police patrolling team in the Vallah area of Sultanwind police station detained the suspect, according to Sub-inspector Jasbir Singh, Station House Officer, Sultanwind police station.

Avtar Singh, also known as Laddu, is a resident of Guru Nanakpura. In another incident, the Chheharta police detained him and took 183 intoxicating pills and Rs 3,150 from his hands.

The two suspects were the subject of separate Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act complaints that were filed at the local police stations, and further investigations were started in this regard.
