One was kept for the accident killing of a Delhi Congress politician, and the offending car was confiscated

May 9, New Delhi A 24-year-old guy has been taken into custody by Delhi Police one day after a local Congressman was struck by a vehicle in the Rohini neighborhood of the capital while out on a morning stroll.

According to the police, Chirag Chaudhary has been apprehended and the offending Maruti Grand Vitara car has also been confiscated.

The speeding automobile struck Hari Kishan Jindal, 62, a former chairman of the Congress district unit, on Tuesday morning. The hospital proclaimed him deceased. After reviewing video from around 250 CCTV cameras, the culprit was located.

Jindal, a former council member, ran an unsuccessful campaign from Wazirabad in the Assembly elections.
