Pakistani national captured by BSF in Amritsar

On Sunday night, the Border Security Force (BSF) arrested a citizen of Pakistan near the International Border in the Amritsar area.

When BSF soldiers saw suspicious activity in front of the border fence in Roranwala village, they roped off the area and took the suspect into custody. Two cell phones, Rs 840 in various denominations of Pakistani money, and a national identification card were discovered in the subject’s hands during a frisking.

The Pakistani citizen was first questioned by the BSF before being turned over to the Punjab Police to conduct further inquiries.
