People in J&K must not be duped by those attempting to sabotage the peace process, warns LG

On Tuesday, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir to avoid being duped by those attempting to sabotage the Union Territory’s current peace and development process.

Sinha dedicated and set the cornerstones for a number of construction initiatives in the Ganderbal area of central Kashmir.

In his speech to a sizable crowd at Qamaria Stadium, he urged people not to be duped by those attempting to sabotage the path of peace and prosperity.

“Today, more people than ever are taking part in the development. Only merit-based and transparent hiring practices are used. The hiring process will begin shortly, and the open positions will be filled within the next six months, according to him. Infrastructure development is undergoing a new revolution in Jammu & Kashmir. A number of projects that had been on hold for more than ten years have now been finished and dedicated to the public, he added.

Fast-paced development during the last four years and unprecedented investments in modern infrastructure are influencing Jammu and Kashmir’s economic growth trajectory and raising people’s ambitions, according to the Lt. Governor.

Before 2019, delays were common, but today, the administration’s major goal is hastening the completion of projects. According to Sinha, we have finished 1,500 projects that were delayed by five to twenty years.

The Lt. Governor reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to closing decades-long gaps in development in order to improve residents’ quality of life.

After becoming a distinct district, Ganderbal remained ignored for a very long time. He said that although the nation was making development, the locals were denied access to fundamental amenities.

He said that the government has made a number of aggressive steps to concentrate on developmental concerns, offer a particular push via a broad range of economic activity, and handle issues relating to various regions on a priority basis.

We are also working hard to realize Ganderbal’s tourist industry development potential. According to him, Sonmarg is now well-known as a tourist destination, and the increasing number of visitors has helped the local economy.

The Lt. Governor congratulated the Ganderbal government for its efforts to improve female literacy and close the gender literacy gap. According to Sinha, this would have a multiplicative effect on Jammu and Kashmir’s socioeconomic growth.

The Government Degree College’s Venture Incubation and Knowledge Application Launchpad (VIKALP) Center was dedicated by Sinha to the district’s aspirant young, who would benefit from its supportive environment for idea incubation, company growth, and innovation.

I have no doubt that business-related activities will have a variety of positive effects on society.
