Phalodi, Sikar, and Jaipur Record 7.6 Degrees Min Temperature, Coldest in Rajasthan

The Meteorological Department said that on Monday, the first day of the New Year, Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, had a minimum temperature of 7.6 degrees Celsius, while Phalodi and Sikar recorded the lowest temperatures in the state, at 5.6 and 6 degrees Celsius.

Jaisalmer had 6.2 degrees Celsius, Bikaner recorded 6.4 degrees, while Sirohi and Sangria recorded 7.7 degrees, according to the MeT.

The lowest temperature that was recorded was 8.2 degrees in Alwar and Sriganganagar, 8.5 degrees in Pilani, 8.7 degrees in Fatehpur, and 8.8 degrees in Karauli and Ajmer.

According to a MeT representative, the state’s weather remained dry, with patches of moderate to intense fog being seen in several areas.
