Phase 3 of the Lok Sabha Election 2024: Examine State-by-State Key Candidates and Constituencies

Following the end of voting for the first two phases, which witnessed voter participation of 66.14 percent in phase 1 (April 19) and 66.71 percent in phase 2 (April 26), the third phase of the 18th Lok Sabha Elections will take place on May 7. Ten states and two union territories (UT) will be covered by elections in 94 seats during the third round of voting.

Assam (4 seats), Bihar (5), Chhattisgarh (7), Goa (2), Gujarat (26), Karnataka (14), Madhya Pradesh (8), Maharashtra (11), Uttar Pradesh (10), West Bengal (4), Jammu and Kashmir (1), Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Daman & Diu (2) are the states that will hold elections in the third phase.

LIST OF CONSTITUENCIES UP FOR VOTING IN THE PHASE 3 LOK SABHA POLLS
Assam: Gauhati, Dhubri, Barpeta, and Kokrajhar

Bihar: Khagaria, Madhepura, Jhanjharpur, Supaul, and Araria

Sarguja, Raigarh, Janjgir-Champa, Korba, Bilaspur, Durg, and Raipur are in Chhattisgarh.

North and South Goa are Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Daman and Diu Goa.

Gujarat consists of the following cities: Kachchh, Gandhinagar, Gandhinagar East, Gandhinagar West, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Porbandar, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Anand, Kheda, Panchmahal, Dahod, Vadodara, Chhota Udaipur, Bharuch, Bardoli, Navsari, Valsad

Karnataka: Bellary, Haveri, Dharwad, Uttara Kannada, Davangere, Shimoga, Koppal, Belgaum, Bagalkot, Bijapur, Gulbarga, Raichur, Bidar, Bidar, Bidar, Haveri, Dharwad, and Haveri

Jyotiraditya Scindia, a Union Minister and BJP politician, will run for office in Guna

Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has been nominated by the BJP from Vidisha, while Congressman Digvijaya Singh will run from Rajgarh in the Lok Sabha elections.

Leading NCP (SP) candidate Supriya Sule, daughter of Sharad Pawar, will run from Baramati against her sister-in-law, Sunetra Pawar, spouse of Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Ajit Pawar.

Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, the Leader of the Opposition for the Congress in the Lok Sabha, will run from the West Bengal seat of Baharampur.

Dimple Yadav, the spouse of Samajwadi Party chairman Akhilesh Yadav, will contest from Mainpuri.

Pralhad Joshi, Union Minister, will contest from Dharwad, Karnataka

Pallavi Dempo, an industrialist, will run for office from the South Goa seat on the BJP platform.

President of the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF), Badruddin Ajmal, will lead the battle from Dhubri, Assam.
