Physiotherapist commits suicide: Abohar couple detained for complicity

Meenakshi Khanna and her husband, Davinder Khanna, also known as Vicky, were identified in a suicide note written by a physiotherapist, and the Abohar City-2 police have taken them into custody. A complaint has been filed under Section 306/34 of the IPC.

On Sunday, the corpse of a 25-year-old physiotherapist was discovered dangling from a ceiling fan inside the clinic that he owned and operated out of his home in Nai Abadi. The dead physiotherapist said in his suicide note that he was unhappy about investments of Rs 25 lakh he had put in an online worldwide private business that had vanished, purportedly at the request of a couple.

The late Dinesh Kumar’s brother, Mukesh, told the police that he discovered his brother’s corpse hanging in the clinic.

The dead left a suicide note in which he mentioned a couple in Nai Abadi as the reason they had persuaded him to spend Rs 25 lakh in a private business.

He had taken out loans from other investors for a portion of the investment, but the couple said the company had vanished from view. The suicide letter has been taken into possession by the police, who have also begun an inquiry into the event.

The dead had blamed Meenakshi and Davinder in the suicide letter for taking his own life.
