PM Modi travels to Patna Sahib’s Takhat Sri Harimandir Ji

On Monday, Patna Sahib, Takhat Sri Harimandir Ji, and Patna City were visited by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Special security measures had been implemented in anticipation of the PM’s arrival.

One of the five Sikh takhats, Takhat Sri Patna Sahib, also called Takhat Sri Harimandir Ji, Patna Sahib, is situated in the state capital. In order to commemorate Guru Gobind Singh’s birthplace, Maharaja Ranjit Singh ordered the takhat to be built in the eighteenth century.

The tenth Sikh guru, Guru Gobind Singh, was born in Patna in 1666. Moreover, he was raised here before relocating to Anandpur Sahib.

One day after hosting a roadshow in the state capital, the PM paid a visit to Sri Harimandir Ji, Patna Sahib. Modi made history by becoming the first prime minister to conduct a roadshow in any part of Bihar.

On Monday, the PM is expected to speak at election rallies in support of NDA candidates in Saran, Muzaffarpur, and Hajipur.
