PM Modi will visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple today before filing nominations for the Lok Sabha Election of 2024

Prior to submitting his candidacy on May 14, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the Kashi Vishwanath shrine in Varanasi on Monday. After that, PM Modi is expected to do a roadshow in the Uttar Pradesh Lok Sabha seat of Varanasi. As the Prime Minister gets ready for his visit to the area, there is a flurry of activity evident in the preparations for this roadshow.

Mahendra Nath Pandey, a union minister and BJP contender for the Chandauli Lok Sabha constituency, has expressed his steadfast belief that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be re-elected to a second term in office.

“PM Narendra Modi is poised to arrive in Varanasi. Varanasi citizens are prepared to cast their ballots and give PM Modi the victory in the elections. Regarding PM Modi’s visit, Pandey said, “No other Prime Minister has worked for their parliamentary constituency as much as PM Modi has worked for his.” “The whole Kashi is standing with Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” said Chandauli MLA Ramesh Jaiswal. I really believe that we will prevail in the elections.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have secured two consecutive victories in Varanasi during the Lok Sabha elections in 2014 and 2019. Ajay Rai, the leader of the Uttar Pradesh Congress, has been nominated by the Congress party to run against Prime Minister Modi in the 2019 elections in Varanasi. This is Rai’s third battle against the Prime Minister in a Lok Sabha race. Voting in the seventh round of the elections is set for June 1st in Varanasi.

Notably, PM Modi won the seat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections with a significant margin, receiving around 674,664 votes and a noteworthy vote share of 63.6 percent. It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Modi ran for two Lok Sabha seats in 2014: Varanasi, in Uttar Pradesh, and Vadodara, in Gujarat.
