PM Modi's Gujarat visit: PM Modi said, after 2014, 100% neem coating of urea in the country was done, ensuring that farmers got enough urea

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Nano Urea Plant manufactured at IFFCO, Kalol in Gandhinagar. PM Modi said that cooperation is a great medium for self-reliance of the village and it has the energy of a self-reliant India. For the construction of a self-reliant India, it is very important for the village to be self-reliant, so according to the path shown by Pujya Bapu and Sardar Saheb, we are moving toward a model cooperative village. Today, I feel special pleasure while inaugurating the country's first Nano Urea Plant for self-reliant agriculture. Now the power of a sack of urea is contained in a bottle. About half a liter bottle of Nano Urea, one sack of the farmer will meet the requirement of urea.
PM Modi further said that about half a liter bottle of nano urea, one sack of the farmer will meet the requirement of urea. Till 7-8 years ago, instead of going to our farm, most of the urea used to fall prey to black marketing, and the farmer was forced to eat sticks for his needs. After the formation of our government in 2014, we did the work of 100 percent neem coating of urea. This ensured that the farmers of the country got enough urea. Along with this, we started the work of restarting 5 closed fertilizer factories in UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Telangana. We also have big factories closed due to lack of new technology.
India imports urea from abroad, in which a 50 kg bag of urea costs Rs 3,500. But in the country, the same urea bag is given to the farmer for only Rs 300. That is, our government bears a load of Rs 3,200 on a bag of urea. In order to ensure that the farmers of the country do not face any problems, the Central Government has given a subsidy of Rs 1.60 lakh crore in fertilizer last year.
PM Modi said, whatever is necessary for the interest of the farmers of the country, we will do that and will continue to increase the power of the farmers of the country. In the earlier government, only immediate solutions were found to the problems. Only limited efforts were made so that the problem does not arise in the future. In the last 8 years, we have also taken immediate measures and found permanent solutions to the problems.
There is a solution to many of India's difficulties in self-reliance. A great model of self-reliance is cooperation. We have experienced this with great success in Gujarat and all of your friends are the fighters of this success. The example of the cooperative model of the dairy sector is before us. Today India is the largest milk producer in the world, with Gujarat having a major share. In the past years, the dairy sector has been growing rapidly and is also contributing more to the rural economy.
