PM’s Young Achievers Scholarship Award Will Be Based On Merit; Check the Registration Process PM YASASVI 2023

As the National Testing Agency (NTA) has cancelled the entrance test that was scheduled for September 29, 2023, the Prime Minister Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (PM YASASVI) scholarship award will be given this year on the basis of merit.

As it placed an additional burden on the applicants, the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, which oversees the PM YASASVI program, announced that the students would henceforth be given the scholarships on the basis of merit determined by the grades earned in Class 8 and 10 rather than by tests. The PM YASASVI Merit List 2023 will now be created, and it will be this list that will be used to grant scholarships.

All of the qualified pupils will be identified on this list, and the government will provide them a scholarship. The PM YASASVI Cut-Off Marks 2023 will be one of numerous variables that will be taken into consideration while creating this Merit.

Candidates who earned 60% or above in Class 8 and 10 are eligible to apply via the National Scholarship site (NSP) site, according to a statement made in an official statement by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. The National Scholarship Portal will be used in the student selection process.

The PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (PM YASASVI) is what, exactly?

Around 30,000 students from elite schools who belong to the Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Backward Classes (EBC), and Denotified Tribes (DNT) would benefit from the program, which was implemented. The program would let students to receive scholarships worth up to Rs. 75,000 each year for grades 9 and 10. While Class 11/12 kids will get 1,25,000 annually. The sum will pay for the students’ tuition and housing costs.
