PoK will accept its place in India, Shah declares during a rally in Bengal

Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) is a part of India, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah reaffirmed this on Wednesday, saying that “we will take it.”

Speaking at a rally in Serampore, West Bengal, Shah said that while PoK “now echoes with slogans of Azadi and protests,” peace has returned to the once-troubled state after the repeal of Article 370 in 2019.

“Peace has returned to Kashmir with the Center’s 2019 revocation of Article 370. Protests are now taking place in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, however. The same Azadi chants that were previously heard here are now heard in PoK. Stones were thrown here in the past, but today they are thrown in PoK, the man said.

Shah took aim at Congressmen Mani Shankar Aiyar and other leaders of the party, claiming that they should not back the call to take over PoK since they own an atomic weapon. Let me state that we will accept this PoK as it is a part of India.

“Choosing between corrupt leaders of the INDI Alliance and honest politician Narendra Modi, who despite being CM and then PM never had an allegation of single paisa against him,” according to Shah, is the main focus of the current Lok Sabha elections.
