Police could not find woman missing since January 11, skeleton found on 9th day, husband and father-in-law arrested

Sambhal: The skeleton of a woman who was missing for nine days was found in Chandausi, Sambhal in Uttar Pradesh today. The police has arrested her husband and her father-in-law. Police said here today that 22-year-old Lakshmi, a resident of Mohalla Shiv Dham Colony, had been missing since January 11. Lakshmi's mother Kamlesh accused the husband and father-in-law of kidnapping and murdering the daughter by giving a police complaint.
On Wednesday, some remains of women's clothes, hair and dead bodies were found under the bridge of Sot river near village Barai in Kotwali area. On the information of the police, mother Kamlesh has identified her daughter as Lakshmi on the basis of clothes. The police have arrested the accused husband Vaibhav and father-in-law Sanjeev.
