Prayer Meeting at Mukhtar Ansari: SC Allows Abbas Ansari To Attend Private Ceremony With Family

The late politician and mobster Mukhtar Ansari’s son Abbas has received substantial allowances from the Supreme Court in a recent ruling. The mobster was incarcerated in Uttar Pradesh’s Banda Prison, where he was serving several life sentences. Five-time MLA Mukhtar Ansari of the Mau Sadar seat was buried in Ghazipur on March 30 under a security blanket. The 63-year-old has more than 60 criminal convictions against him and had been imprisoned in Punjab and Uttar Pradesh since 2005.
