Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Varanasi . Let us know that preparations are going on for Dev Deepavali Festival in Varanasi . On this occasion, the  first lamp will be lit by the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself. With this, the Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation today the 6-lane widening project of Handia (Prayagraj) -Rajatalab (Varanasi) section of National Highway-19. 

This will be the first time that  Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take part in the Dev Deepavali Festival at Rajghat in Varanasi today, in which 11 lakh diyas will be burnt on the banks of river Ganga. This is PM Modi's 23rd Varanasi tour.

National Desk: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is likely to launch the Ayushman Health Scheme for Central Paramilitary Forces in Assam on January 23. According to official sources, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) like Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). On 23 January, Home Minister Shah will distribute the Ayushman health card to the chiefs, one deputy officer and one soldier each. The total strength of CAPF personnel is close to 1 million and they carry out internal security related activities.

An official told PTI-language that the Union Home Minister can start the Ayushman CAPF Health Scheme in Guwahati on January 23. A presentation will be made about this scheme and after that the minister can also address the beneficiaries. The Central Government calls Ayushman Bharat (PM-Jai) the world's largest health plan. Under this, the poor are provided free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh per family per year.
